What Uniforms Tell About Your Restaurant
There are three things that customers immediately notice when entering a restaurant in Las Vegas: The outside appearance, the interior ambiance, and the restaurant uniforms in Las Vegas. A hiccup in any of these things can cause a lack of faith any business’ professionalism. In a city like Las Vegas, this can be the difference between a business’ financial life or death. No one likes to gamble with their stomachs; the consequences can ruin vacations, dates, or even business meetings.
Although many customers may give a pass for longstanding construction or remodeling (so long as there are no safety issues), they generally display a high level of withdrawal from companies with poorly kept restaurant uniforms. At best dirty, torn, mismatched, or disheveled uniforms may indicate a lack of self-care that customers just don’t want to have projected on them. At worst, it could suggest poor sanitation standards, even food poisoning! There is just no reason for it in our city, especially when there are so many options to re-outfit staff with restaurant uniforms Las Vegas.
On the other hand, if customers see that uniforms are brand new, or perceive them to be, everything falls into place. Customers are assured that they are dealing with caring management if they need to, they aren’t worried about the cleanliness of their server, and as an added bonus- the increased professionalism demonstrated just by server appearance probably increases their tip! A happy staff can increase productivity and repeat customers.
The power of restaurant uniforms is so powerful that many restaurants have at least a few extra pair around. These aren’t just for new hires. Could you imagine if every time a huge spill fell on your best server or their image was in some way compromised, they had to go home to change? Or worse, they had to continue work disgruntled?? The loss of that server may be the loss of several repeat customers. It would also be a gain for a competing business.
It’s surprising when there are two restaurants, right next to each other, that have different approaches to their appearance. There will be one who absorbs the cost of new outfits by first ordering the most visible aspect of wardrobe: new shirts. The other restaurant waits, and waits until all of their outfits are completely in shambles and changes the whole outfit at once, for the entire staff! Not only does the first restaurant look more professional for more of the time, but they are also saving loads of money over the competitor. When customers think appearance can save them time, it means it can make businesses money.
